Those students who were not participating in these activities were busy in arranging the superb ceremony. We seniors were very excited as we were to welcome our juniors. The efforts of the Faculty member are worth mentioning in the arrangement of the event, who worked very hard to make it outstanding. All the members were guided by the co-ordinator, Dr. Vivek Sharma Sir who guided for the successful arrangement of this function.

MBA (E Commerce) , A very unique course of management have been initiated in Madhya Pradesh, India by IMS , DAVV , Indore.

DAVV , Indore
Institute of Management Studies (IMS) is a part of Devi Ahilya University (DAVV) which was started in 1969 & as formally know as Department of Business Management. It is one amongst the leading B - School of India. In its 44 years of glorious existence the institute has always endeavor to provide the organizations & industries with managers who excel in all sphere.
IMS , DAVV

MBA(Ecom - 2 year)  is a management post graduation degree course which was been started in 2005.
Full-form of E-Commerce is Electronic Commerce. This course is a combination of syllabus of MBA and MCA. the main objective of the institute is to create Techno-Managers with Technical as well as Managerial skills and enriching the students with different flavor of IT and management.

In one of my Research about "Role of E-Commerce Manager in an organisation".
I found that :
Most of the Organization, Industries and Multi-National Companies are approaching towards the Internet Marketing . Even there are so less number of E-Commerce Manager available, due to the uniqueness of the course that the salary offered to a MBA (E-Com) post graduate is comparatively high. The new companies who are adopting E-Commerce would require atleast a team of 2-3 managers, So the opportunity for  E-Com manager becomes vast. For an Electronic Commerce PG student there is wide target area to aim for job. Since, MBA(E-Com) student can comfortably do job in Web-Development, Online Marketing, SEO, Social Media Marketing, Managing Web App , Business Analyst as well as all the job that a common full time MBA passout can do.

E-commerce management program is offered in very limited universities and the span of e-commerce is very wide, Since Indian companies were not having E-commerce yet but now they are now approaching towards this methodology, So the scope in E-Com will always increase.

Since, this is a Technical field , so with the advancement in Technology, E-Com scope will also grow.
